After the collapse of the Lincolnshire rebellion, the earl of Warwick and the duke of Clarence are ordered to dismiss their men and join the king, Edward IV. They send reassurances but do their best to stay out of Edward’s way. Warwick says his followers must be assured of pardons, but Edward sends more summonses.
